Another Enjoyable Evening and Mix Round 2 Nearing Completion

Last night's gig with Eric Peters and Sam Smith...another wonderful opportunity to sit and talk with two great guys with a passion for music, the Lord, and literature.  Who could ask for anything better?  I'll tell you, sitting in the booth at North Country Brewery after the show, tucked away in the back corner... it almost felt like sitting in on an Inklings meeting in our own little rabbit room... minus the blaring music and interesting wall decor.  James and I truly had a wonderful time playing and then listening.

In other news, my producer in OK City sent back the remixes of five of the songs for the new album.  Hoping to finish up the music portion of the project in the next few weeks!  Then it's off to design!  Already thinking about tour locations for next summer, be it festivals, churches, coffeehouses, or just living rooms!

This whole foray into the realm of Facebook really was birthed out of signing with Tate Music Group back on July 1st of this year (2011).  As a public school teacher, I've avoided this means of "communication" like GMO foods, high fructose corn syrup, and chicken Mcnuggets.  But necessity is the mother of invention, or so they say, so here, in as brief an update as I can give is a timeline of my journey into living my dream.
