Vincent Anastasi performs with local favorite, Treebeard Brown, as well as being part of Witmer and Anastasi. He spends most of his time listening to the Avett Brothers, Paul Simon, Mumford and Sons, and John Mark McMillan. As an English teacher, literary influences pervade his songs, and as a husband and father, life provides rich content for his musical compositions.Vincent and James officially teamed up in 2009, but together have logged over 20 years of writing and performing original music.
James Witmer performs most often for his three kids - the toughest and most forgiving audience anywhere. He works for local t-shirt company, Earth Sun Moon Trading Co., and spends his free time digging in the garden with his wife. His favorite playlist is dominated by Andrew Peterson, Switchfoot, Don Ross & Andy McKee, and U2.
